Informational

Informational courses are the fastest and easiest to design and develop, and they ensure your learner sees all of your content. But they may not always be the right answer. These are fantastic solutions if you're communicating basic information, or adding on to a learner's existing knowledge. They're straightforward in the way they deliver content, and they might include a quiz to test a learner's immediate retention.

THE BASIC

Instructional

Instructional solutions are those that take a little more time to design and develop, but because they're anchored in real-life scenarios, often prove to be more effective than the informational approach. Generally speaking, learners are able to better retain information, because this design sets the context to better align with their actual experiences on the job.

Experiential

While experiential solutions are ultimately the most challenging to design and development, they're the most effective solution for allowing learners to practice in a safe space and apply their knowledge. This experience closely simulates real life, allowing learners to feel like they're performing the job, not "taking a course".
